Q9 Opens First Phase of Calgary Data Center
Two years after launching its second Calgary data center, Canadian outsourced data center infrastructure provider Q9 Networks (www.q9.com) has opened its third data center in the Calgary area, which has a potential total capacity of more than 10,000 cabinet equivalents. According to Q9’s Thursday announcement, the first phase of the data center, costing $50 million, will support 1,200 cabinet equivalents, more than 38 percent of which has already been reserved.
